In a split second, everything was shattered. The thick silence of a humid summer evening was torn apart with first a single scream, then the sweeping “whoosh” of a lit gasoline trail spanning what could have been several miles. Well, it's been a good long while since I last posted a journal, and I thought the day after my 18th might be a suitable one. As many of you might have noticed, I've purchased Premium membership, and I will probably keep it up and running for a while yet. Username Now, as per my username change: I had stopped using the name "TheShadowPhantom" almost immediately after making this account, as this was one of the last few that I made under that name. Soon after, I'd moved onto "Pathogen" and then "Pathogen™" specifically. Since then, I've moved to "Pathos of Truth", due to my strenuously rigid views on the ways of truth. I like to guide others

Well, as we enter into the 12th year of the millennium, I realise that everything seems stable enough to relax for a bit. It's been a while since I posted a journal entry, and I thought I'd make use of the 1-day Premium that dA's seen fit to bless us all with. :D I'll be working more and more on the Anime art series, making more and more wallpapers, and trying my hardest to post correct credit info. Not all that much more I can think of posting at the moment, so I'll leave it short, sweet and simple.

Well, I've just seen the amount of people that still live in the past, thinking that art is purely drawn, purely "perfect", purely something made entirely by one person for one purpose. With this I disagree. True art is an expression of emotion, thought, creativity, inspiration, beauty, intrigue, even of disgust or love. Art is Expression. So many people still fail to see this, and discriminate towards the smaller artists who can only, or want to only, do so much; a lot of the time this is due to fear of retribution from all of the haters.
